Dwarf Sorghum

Dwarf Sorghum has a short, sturdy, broad-leaved stem and a substantial see-head, providing birds with warm cover throughout the shooting season. Often sown as a companion to Maize with the bulkier, shorter Sorghum plants giving protection to the birds below the taller growing Maize plants.
